I created a hand-drawn template for this set of snails using a variety of other felt snails as inspiration. I suppose mine most closely resembles this Snail Felt Ornament Kit from Michaels.

I plan on using these in an upcoming Bug or Letter S themed storytime. Here is the rhyme I found on the Early Learning HQ website:

Math Minute Felt Rhyme: Five Garden Snails
Five garden snails
Sleeping in the sun,
Along comes a bird,
And flies away with one.
