CRAFT: Shark on a Stick!

I created a simple cardboard template, and had my interns use it to trace and cut out dozens of little blue and gray sharks. Then I had them free cut triangular shaped teeth. “Kits” were paper clipped together to facilitate distribution and assembly. Googly eyes were provided as were markers (for gills) and jumbo popsicle sticks.
REVIEW:
Storytime was a big hit! Everyone enjoyed shark themed storytime. Children and parents alike laughed at the read-aloud-stories…which I find extremely pleasing, and the kiddos couldn’t get enough of sharks and their terrifyingly sharp teeth. The munckins were so hopped up on sharks they couldn’t resist attacking one another with their Sharks on a Stick.
