They cover their noses whenever they sneeze
Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!
Three nice mice
Three nice mice
Three nice mice

CRAFT: Word Bubble Signs!

Manners Storytime Craft

I had some difficulty coming up with an appropriately themed craft for this series of storytime sessions. After some thought and few futile online searches, I opted to go with a word bubble craft inspired by Mo Willems.

The read-a-loud stories went over well. My storytime munchins got a kick out of No, David! and Ducking Gets a Cookie!? Unfortunately, some of the extension activities were less successful. The children were not into Share Your Toys or 3 Nice Mice, and their lack of enthusiasm and participation led to some awkward silences. Overall, this was a really difficult storytime theme.
