CRAFT: Good Night Moon and Stars!

This was the craft I came up with, before I discovered the former Children’s Librarian had put together the crafts for the last few storytime sessions she’d planned before resigning. To put together my prototype, I created a series of templates and used colored construction paper and scrapbook paper to make all the pieces.
REVIEW:
This was my first official storytime as the new Children’s Librarian. The storytime sessions were somewhat awkward and disjointed due to the presence of last-minute guest storytellers, the inclusion of a a local author’s book that did not fit within the storytime theme, and the fact that I was a newbie without ties to the audience. All I can say is this was a great opportunity to learn how to be flexible and roll with the punches.
