Better late than never…here is a photo of the quick display I put together for Valentine’s Day, which features a nice selection of children’s books. I used left over scrapbook paper to create the owl. Instead drawing the banner freehand, I used PowerPoint to create a heart-shaped template and printed it out on light pink paper. After I cut-out all the hearts I decided to forgo stringing them together. I purchased two packages of glitter-covered heart-shaped table scatter from The Dollar Tree for $2. The burgundy table cloth was “borrowed” from my parent’s stash.
